- Every time I read my friends-list whilst working, I will update either

elemysthesis or elemy. - On any working day when I update, at least one of those entries will be in elemysthesis.
- If I enter a string of "I've not done much"-type entries, I lose a point, and incidentally feel very guilty
- If my supervisor says something complimentary about my progress, I gain a point.
- If I submit a thesis for examination I get a gold star.
- If I submit a thesis for examination before my funding runs out in October, I get two gold stars.
- If I pass a viva, I win.
